Staking Rewards & Lock-Up Period

10% of all borrowing interest is allocated to directly reward USFI stakers. This provides Stark-Fi investors with a USD-denominated yield, paid in $USFI stablecoin. In the future, as platforms like Stark-Fi Lend and Stark-Fi Swap launch, a portion of their fees will also be distributed directly to SFI stakers.

• Rewards can be claimed anytime through the Staking Portal. You can always check up-to-date APR figures for staking $SFI.

​Staking SFI is flexible—there’s no mandatory lock-up. However, you can lock your SFI tokens for an amplified yield.

• The maximum lock-up period currently available is 12 months.

Staked SFI tokens are NOT used to backstop the Stark-Fi system or mitigate depegging events.

• Your staked assets remain secure and are only used for earning rewards.
